Rating regulations review – input request

A statistical analysis regarding ratings will be conducted by Jeff Sonas.

Furthermore, a working group will be appointed to study the rating regulations and potential improvements. This working group will provide drafts of recommended changes to the rating regulations based on the aforementioned analysis.

The working group will consist of representatives of the Qualification Commission, grandmasters and representatives of the General Strategy Commission.

We are inviting federations, officials and all other interested individuals to provide suggestions for rating regulations amendments. Please send your suggestions to qualification@fide.com. The deadline is 31 March 2023.
