New rating regulations come into force

As of 1 March 2024, the rating regulations have come into effect. This implies that:

• all players with a rating between 1000 and 2000 will receive a one-time increase,
• the new rating floor will be set at 1400,
• changes are made to the initial rating calculation, and
• the limitation of the 400-points rule to once per event has been abolished.
